lazy Friday night

I thought this layout might be appropriate today...

Truth:
I got really frustrated because I could not get that big piece of patterned paper lined up evenly toward the left side of the layout.
After pulling it up & trying to realign it several times, I finally threw in the towel and just made the whole layout crooked.
And I like it!
*****
I made that layout with my
Salt Water Taffy kit from Noel Mignon.
Supplies from kit: Patterned paper (Echo Park),
Stickers (Sassafras), buttons, kraft cardstock

TGIF!!
I hope you have a great Friday night!

a little more Bella

I made a couple more things for the Bella Blvd booth at CHA!
This time I got to play with their Midterm line.
Now this is not a brand new line but it is a great one nonetheless!!
And with school starting back soon, it is an appropriate line for this time of year.
I made a couple of simple cards.
I tried to stick with the school-ish theme on this one...

And then I tried make something without any "school" reference to show the versatility of the line!

I really love the color combos in this line!
OK that's all I've got!
Have a good one!

Cruising

Have you gotten the most recent special issue of Creating Keepsakes yet??!

It's a fun one!
And it's perfect to help you get all your summer photos scrapped!

I have a layout in there too!
This one is about the cruise we took last September.
I got to use this fun palm tree graphic on the page...

So I printed it out on white cardstock, cut it out, added some brads & bling to make "coconuts", and attached it to the layout using strategically placed foam adhesive.

And because the folks at Creating Keepsakes are so generous, you too can download the palm trees here for free!
Happy scrapping!

Christmas in July

Merry Christmas!!
:)
Working with the new Christmas lines from Bella Blvd & KI Memories has really gotten me feeling Christmas-y!
And there is only one more week left in July
so I figure it is time for a Christmas in July
celebration!
It's not too early to start thinking about Christmas cards either!
Recently I pulled out my Bedford Falls kit
(you are in luck...there are still a few left!!)
and knocked out a few cards...
Having a kit full of Christmas stuff sure makes it easier to make my Christmas cards!

Feeling festive yet??!

Here is a little layout inspiration for you too!
I recently submitting this layout for the CK Sketches column in the Nov/Dec issue of
Creating Keepsakes.
Obviously it did not get picked up & I am sharing it here instead!

Everything here is also from Bedford Falls except for the alphabet, twine, & red scalloped border.
*****
I put up a new Christmas in July challenge over on the challenge board at Noel Mignon.
Jump in and celebrate with us!
:)
Happy holidays!
And happy Monday!

Good Folk

OK here is the last delicious new line from KI!
It is a very fall-ish, family-friendly line with a bit of retro thrown in there!
Here are a few of my favorite sheets of paper...

YAY!! for woodgrain!

How about these cool woodgrain letters??!?!
And clear stamps that actually make me want to get out
my probably-already-dried-up ink pads!!!

You can see the rest of this great line over on this post on the KI blog!
And here is a little something that I made with Good Folk...

I hope you are liking the looks of these new lines as much as I am!
Happy day!

**NEW** KI Memories

YIPPEEEEE!!

NEW KI Memories!!

Here is a line called "Hot Date"
and I love the fun, bright colors & patterns!!
Here are some of my favorite papers...

There are fun new Puffies too!
And BRADS!!!
You know I dig the new brads!!

There is a lot more in this new line including stamps, alphas, tapes, pockets, etc.
You can see all of it here on the KI blog!
Here is a quick layout I made with this line about my own personal "hot date".
{haha cheesy joke!}
:)

There are new pockets too in both the 3x3 and 5x5 sizes!
There are pockets that go with each of the 3 (yes, there are 2 more in addition to "Hot Date") but there are also pockets in damask & zebra prints!

Fabulous!!

I love to use the 3x3 pockets as gift card holders!
Here is a card I made with the "Hot Date" line along with one of the damask pockets.

Smiling

I've got a couple more Bella Blvd projects for ya!
This time I used the new Finally Fall collection.

I made a simple card...

I love the warm colors in this line!
And I am digging the B sides of Bella's patterned papers!

Here's a layout...

Thank you Prom King's Wife for letting me use pics of your beautiful daughter!
*****
I managed to squeeze a little scrapping in before that fabulous CEU course I attended over the weekend.
Thank you Salt Water Taffy kit from Noel Mignon for making this a quick & easy layout!

Rare Saturday post

But I still have so many projects to share using the new Bella Blvd stuff!
*****
Bring on the sports stuff!!
There are not enough good sports lines in the scrapbooking world (imho).
Look at Bella Blvd stepping up to the plate!
{pun totally intended}

As sporty as this line is, so many of the papers are not necessarily sports-themed, making it very versatile!

For instance, there are fun stripes & polka dots & stars and lots of black & red & yellow which would be perfect for some great Disney layouts!

You can see the entire Making the Team line on this post over on the Bella Blvd blog.
*****
In non-scrappy-related news, would you believe that I have to spend the entire weekend in a CEU course??
It is necessary.
I need some learnin'.
But it is still boring.
Go do something fun for me!
:)
Happy Saturday!!

Bella Blvd projects!!

Yay for new scrapbooking products!!

And I love the new Christmas line from Bella Blvd!!
*****
I made a couple of quick cards...

And then I tried to see just how many different
patterned papers I could get on one layout!
:)
I think the final count was 5 different papers!
{love love love}
*****
Here is a fun surprise from Bella Blvd:
their first Halloween line!!
"Too Cute to Spook" it is called!

Cute it definitely is!!
Here is a fun little card...

I can't wait to make some more stuff with these 2 lines!!
*****
In other scrappy news, the new kit from Noel Mignon
goes up for sale today!
It's called "Salt Water Taffy" and it is a fabulous summer kit!
I love the colors in this one so much!

Now go get yourself a kit and then come back here tomorrow
for more Bella Blvd projects!!
Happy Friday!!
